Forthcoming
For the – as yet untitled – new book, my photographer, Constantinos Pittas, and I have covered 75,000 km and 470 nautical miles, and counting. Watch this space for Work-in-Progress Updates and for Sneak Previews. Before going to print, we will be posting excerpts and sample pages.

The new book sees changes in format and size. This means less grower-oriented and more region-by-region descriptions of Greek wines as I have come to know the Greek vineyard over the last 15 years.

winebook_small I wrote my books as there was nothing of their kind available. It was the first independent effort to introduce some meritocracy to modern Greek wine.

The books use the less pedantic 5 star rating system, something previously unknown in Greece. The results gave the profiled producers a chance to have a basic tool for exports and the books sold out.

After taking a breather from the three publications of The Greek Wine Guide, I geared up for a totally new book, The Illustrated Greek Wine Book. It was the first of my books to cover all the new, emerging and established quality regions.
